PHOTOGRAPHER, DESIGNER, ARTIST, EDUCATOR
Robert Rausch is a globally-renowned photographer, Clio Award-winner, and the founder of theStudio Magazine and GAS Design Center. He is work is centered around creating sustainable, luxury design solutions and celebrating, documenting, and sharing the arts.
Robert lived and worked in Paris, New York, and Los Angeles before obtaining a Masters of Fine Art from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. His creative focus has garnered both critical acclaim and the admiration of publications, peers, and clients alike. His photography can be seen in the New York Times, Travel & Leisure, Garden and Gun, Southern Living, Elle, American Craft, Cottage Living, and Veranda, and more.
After moving to Alabama and staying true to his commitment to sustainable living, Robert recycled much of the building in which he built his photography studio and event venue, Gas Design Center, in downtown Tuscumbia.
Robert’s devotion to slow design is evident in his work with clients such as Anthropologie, Hilton Hotels, Whole Foods, Ted Montana Grill, The Waldorf Astoria, Billy Reid, Alabama Chanin, St. Joe Company, and Serenbe.
