Widely recognized as one of the greatest bassists of our time, David Hood was the bassist for Muscle Shoals Sound’s iconic in-house band, “The Swampers.” He has produced songs for Willie Nelson and Cher, and played on albums for Aretha Franklin, Cat Stevens, Paul Simon, Joan Baez, Linda Ronstadt, Rod Stewart, Art Garfunkel, Bob Seger, the Staple Singers, Etta James, Percy Sledge, and many others.
